Why Am I Crazy?

Black women are by far the most disrespected. I have been called all sorts of things, but the one that stands out the most is when I'm called crazy. I was in a relationship, for eleven years, and with every argument or misunderstanding we've had, I was labeled as crazy. When I found out he had cheated on me, I was called crazy, and it's all in my head, he said.

Why am I Crazy

I'm labeled as crazy for being opinionated and having a voice; according to our black men and society, black women are crazy and have issues and baggage, and we are not good enough, and I'm tired of being labeled as crazy and not good enough, so I'm going to use my crazy as a compliment.

As a black woman, I'm compared to other women of other races. It's hard for us to even have a lasting relationship, much less a surviving marriage, because we are looked at by our own black men as not pretty or beautiful. We're not capable of being a supportive partner; we are called that crazy bitch! that no good bitch! who can't do anything, the only thing we can do as black women is argue, and cause problems, and raise our kids by ourselves.

As a beautiful black strong woman, I say this to my other beautiful black women, know your worth, speak up, voice your opinion, and know that you're not crazy. You deserve to be respected and valued regardless of your attitude and know that your reactions are caused by an action.
